Slow Tale Time is an interactive digital storybook for children. We take your privacy and your child's privacy seriously. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how we keep it safe.
When you create an account we store your email address. When you purchase a story we store a record of which stories you have unlocked so the app can show them to you. We do not collect or store any payment card details — all payments are handled securely by Stripe. We do not ask for your child's name, age, or any personal details.
We use your email address to link your purchases to your account and to respond if you contact us. We use your purchase records to show you the stories you have unlocked. That is all — we do not send marketing emails, sell your data, or share it with advertisers.
Slow Tale Time is designed for children aged 3 to 7, but children do not create their own accounts. A parent or guardian creates the account and supervises the child's use of the app. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children.
The app uses basic analytics to understand how many people visit and which stories are read. This data is anonymous and aggregated — it is not linked to your name or email.
You can request a copy of the data we hold about you or ask us to delete your account at any time. Use the Contact page to get in touch, or use the delete account option in the app's settings.
We store data securely and limit access to authorised team members only. Payment details never touch our servers — they are handled entirely by Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment provider.
